CustomWare in the Community
Smart Charity is a NFP (not for profit) organization that CustomWare has recently established with another solutions provider in Australia and aims to grow the Smart Charity group to about 6 companies. Both companies work together to provide zero cost technology solutions for worthy causes. This is a charity initiative that helps the community and, we believe, benefits our employees. Time and resources are devoted to the implementation of solutions for charities, with an initial focus on Children's charities. CustomWare sees the importance of giving back to the community and believe this is a good way to get the team behind charity related activities. As Smart Charity gathers momentum, we expect it to be extended on an international level.
A recent example of some Smart Charity work is the newly developed website for the Ride for Sick Kids which raises funds for Ronald McDonald houses for families of seriously ill children who must travel from country or regional areas for hospital treatment.
