I started as a support engineer for one of the products that CustomWare supports, JIRA, and as time progressed I moved onto another product, Confluence. My daily job ranges from answering support requests via emails and live chats, to managing and leading a team. I also get involved in sales opportunities by introducing JIRA and/or Confluence to potential customers. It is a good experience working at CustomWare as you are exposed to a variety of IT job scopes, global customers, and helpful and supportive colleagues. Besides focusing on personal deliverables there are other areas where we are given a chance to explore and grow. |

I am a Developer and Support Engineer which requires me to address daily support requests from customers, as well as work with our development team on Java-based projects.
I constantly look for ways to improve the team and to proactively share my knowledge and experience with the team members. Working in CustomWare is fun! The environment is friendly as well as its people, and the learning process and experience is exciting: leadership, technology, communication with people, etc. |

My role was newly created to develop innovative and usable web designs in collaboration with the team.
I ensure that the visual impact of the design does its job of communicating to users and making a website work.
I conceive ideas, concepts and campaigns; design, produce, and work with others in the creation of communication materials in print, the world wide web, and other mediums for a variety of instructional, promotional, developmental, and recruitment projects.
This is a totally new experience, environment and culture for me which provides a chance for continued self improvement. |

This is my first IT job since studying at university. I am a member of the Production Management Team based in Sydney and also work closely with our team in Malaysia. On a day-to-day basis I receive a number of support requests sent by our clients regarding the projects we support. Each day I am responsible for investigating these requests and providing an expeditious resolution to these problems within our service level agreements. Being a part of this team means that I am not confided to one specialty but rather receive exposure from many development pathways. While working here I have become skilled at not only some of the integration tools CustomWare utilize such as webMethods and CastIron but also have been introduced to Java development through a number of supported projects. I am also involved in supporting Atlassian based products such as Confluence and JIRA and have recently been involved in some JIRA development. I feel I have gained a wealth of knowledge although only being here a short time. CustomWare's close knit family means that I can feel comfortable in my working environment, many people of which I now view not only as colleagues but also some of my closest friends. Being a young growing company I can witness CustomWare reaching a number of significant milestones and learn from the direction of management. I find working here genuinely enjoyable and look forward to coming to work each day to learn something new. |

I am a member of the Java Practice, so my primary responsibility is to work as a Java developer. At CustomWare, there is a variety of work both internally and externally. My day-to-day work varies depending on the nature of the coming projects. Initially, most are Atlassian related works (JIRA, Confluence), lately, I have been given the responsibility to look after a Johnson & Johnson project, which is a standalone web application (solely developed by CustomWare). There is excellent exposure to different types of work and everyday, and week, is different. It is a very friendly and somewhat relaxed environment. Of course, there would be times when you need to work just a bit harder, but you will not be working with insane deadlines. There is always help and support when needed. |

I work in the Java development practice, specifically in regards to consulting and customisation work with the Atlassian product suite. This means that I am often working on projects which involve developing plugins for JIRA (an issue tracking system) and Confluence (an enterprise wiki) in order to meet organisational needs.
It's a very rewarding place to work. I'm constantly being able to improve my skill set and there is no shortage of challenges in which to learn. CustomWare has also provided me with flexibility in the way in which I work, allowing me to complete my university studies part time. |

I am a consultant specialising in integration technologies.
What I am doing really depends on the project. I have had many opportunities ranging from development work in the office, consulting on-site and running training courses overseas. My job consists of working with clients to deliver integration solutions. This can range from analysis or high level design to coding. I often work as a part of a much bigger team. I am currently involved in a large project where I am a key integration resource and I've had hands on experience with all phases of the project. Working at Customware has been a great experience. It has allowed me to pick up skills in the areas I wanted and given me an opportunity to do some travel and see the world. I have also had the privilege of being part of a great team. |
