The StreamServer provides the following benefits, features - and more - by leveraging your existing information systems and social collaboration tools, making all your resources (people and information) more valuable.
Benefits
Aggregation
System and internal user-generated information (i.e., Wiki, SharePoint, issue trackers, etc.) is continually gathered ("aggregated") to organized channels for users or groups. Web-based free and premium content can also be streamed.
With free-flow information, business effectiveness is improved, along with streamlined execution, innovation, and productivity.
Streams
Information streams can be accessed where and when the user chooses - their own desktop computer, mobile device, corporate portals, or other systems.
Information is delivered and presented in context, including tools to share and collaborate, save, organize and find related information.
Information flows to people who need it vs. requiring continual research across different silos of information.
Open Standards
The Attensa solution is based on open standards, including RSS and Atom for syndicating information. Additional standards-based tools are available for managing the data.
Information Integration
Easily installed on your corporate network, the Attensa server is integrated with your existing IT backbone, eliminating the silo effect caused by information lock-up that is common with traditional document-based information systems and new social-based solutions.
With Attensa, the information is all funneled together for easy management and use. The ROI and effective lifespan of existing IT investments are greatly enhanced.
Features
