Background

The Malaysian Java User Group (MyJUG) was founded by Loke Kar Seng, as an e-group (before eGroups was acquired by Yahoo!). Early members include Cherry Beadsworth, Alan Lau, Wai Keong, etc. Numerous meet-ups and talks have been organized and the member list has been constantly growing.

Time-shift to 2007-2008, the faces have changed and the group is added with new blood to bring the group to a new level. We revamped the website, started a Facebook group, generated more discussions on the mailing list, and now we target ourselves to pass the incubation.
