Challenge

• Our client required a way to ensure legally binding advice given by company engineers wasn’t based on ad hoc information within their WIKI

• In order to differentiate between verified and unverified legal information, enhancements were required to the standard search functionality of Confluence

Solution

• Customised the existing Confluence instance to include additional search parameters

• Implemented search functionality based on a search drop down list:
  • Allowed the ability to populate search results with verified or unverified spaces

• Developed a custom search text field which allowed the ability to limit search results to certain labels

Result

• Enhancements to the standard search functionality ensured legally binding advice given by company engineers was based on verified information

• Increased efficiency in data collection
