Due to the Broker Monitor dependancy in Broker 6.5, all Broker Servers on 1 machine are run from 1 Broker Monitor. If a Broker Server screws up seriously enough, just trying to restart that Broker Server (for instance via web interface) might not work, in which case you need to restart the Broker Monitor manually.

This will have the effect of restarting ALL the 6.5 Brokers on the current machine also, so use carefully. The IS is ''pretty'' good at dealing with a missing broker although someone else might loose some volitile documents.

Steps

1) Log into the machine and switch to the Brokers installation directory

2) Run

./S45Broker65 stop

and then

./S45Broker65 start

If you have many Broker Servers it might take a minute or two to bring them all up again.
